CANNELLONI (With Béchamel)


For the sauce:


  1. Saute the onion and garlic and then add the minced meats.
  2. Add the wine.
  3. Then empty the tin with the chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper, bay leaf and bring to a boil over low heat so that  the liquid evaporates.
  4. Finally add the cheese.
  5. We make the béchamel sauce by heating the butter or margarine until melts and add the flour.
  6. Once you get a golden-yellow colour, pour the milk warm and stir thoroughly to avoid clotting.If needed add more flour or milk.
  7. Finally, put salt and pepper .
  8. Stuff the cannelloni with minced meat which is cool and place in a Pyrex half the béchamel.
  9. Place over the cannelloni, and finally the rest of the sauce and top with grated cheese.
  10. Cover with foil and bake  for 40 minutes at 180 degrees.
  11. The last ten minutes remove the foil.
